» Course Description:

This Nationally Recognised Qualification will enable the candidate to undertaking cleaning tasks working unsupervised in a commercial cleaning context.  This course provides candidates with the skills, attributes and knowledge to be able to undertake job roles that may include Domestic Cleaner or Commercial Cleaner.

This course is offered two days a week in the classroom over 12 weeks.  Students are also required to complete 50 hours of work placement.  Work placement must be completed before the end date of course.

» Essentials, Prerequisites: Students will need a minimum Year 8 or equivalent qualification. Students must been 15 years and over. Students must also be motivated, show an awareness of industry requirements and keenness to work in the industry.

» Pathways:

By successfully completing a Certificate III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations), the participant is eligible to continue their studies and enroll in a Certificate IV program or gain employment.

» Recognition of Prior Learning, Credit Transfers:

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): Students wishing to apply for RPL need to indicate this on the Enrolment Form.  RPL Application Forms are available from the Course Co-ordinator. 

Credit Transfer:  Credit Transfer is the recognition and acknowledgment of modules or units of competency acquired through prior formal credentialed training (identical academic experience).
Community College Gippsland grants Credit Transfer under our Mutual Recognition obligations.
