Community Services: CHC20208 Certificate II in Active Volunteering

» Course Description:

This qualification covers people working in a volunteer capacity and builds on the foundation skills required by all volunteers. You will learn how to undertake general administrative tasks, effective communication skills, safe working practivces and how to work effectively with colleagues.

» Course Guide: Certificate II in Active Voluntering

» Essentials, Prerequisites: Students will need to be a minimum of 15 years of age and hold a Year 8 or equivalent.

» Pathways:

On successful completion of Certificate II in Active Volunteering student may continue further study onto Certificate III in Volunteering. Certificate II in Active Volunteering is offered at a number of our campus’s. Please see Course Guide for further information.

» Recognition of Prior Learning, Credit Transfers:

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): Students wishing to apply for RPL need to indicate this on the Enrolment Form.  RPL Application Forms are available from the Course Co-ordinator. 

Credit Transfer:  Credit Transfer is the recognition and acknowledgment of modules or units of competency acquired through prior formal credentialed training (identical academic experience). Community College Gippsland grants Credit Transfer under our Mutual Recognition obligations.
