» Course Description:

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

-Manage an acute illness
-Describe the recognition and management of an eye injury
-Manage Hyperthermia & Hypothermia.
-Describe the basic structure and function of the human body.
-Apply First Aid Management skills for chest, abdominal, pelvic and head injuries
