» Course Description:
Diploma of Hairdressing Salon Management will equip you with comprehensive skills and knowledge to successfully manage a salon or own and operate your own salon. It will give you an advantage over existing managers/owners who don’t have this level of training.
This qualification will aid you in building the business, leading and developing your team, developing and implementing marketing activities, human resource training, managing small business finances and manage occupational health and safety requirements for your industry.
This course is a must for anyone who is serious about maximizing the operational abilities of their Salon.

» Essentials, Prerequisites: Students will need a minimum year 10 or equivalent qualification as a requirement for this Diploma course. The course will be offered as Flexible learning on a part time basis. Students will be required to work through learner resources and submit work on a regular basis with teaching support available through phone and email contact. Some class attendance may be required

On completion of this course you may continue on to study Advanced Diploma of Management.
» Recognition of Prior Learning, Credit Transfers:
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): Students wishing to apply for RPL need to indicate this on the Enrolment Form. RPL Application Forms are available from the Course Co-ordinator.
Credit Transfer: Credit Transfer is the recognition and acknowledgment of modules or units of competency acquired through prior formal credentialed training (identical academic experience).
Community College Gippsland grants Credit Transfer under our Mutual Recognition obligations.
