» Course Description:
To cater for the increased demand for skilled workers in rural industries, Community College Gippsland delivers workplace based and campus based training across a wide range of specialisations.
Traineeships and apprenticeships can be undertaken part time or full time and include Australian school based apprenticeships. On site visits are usually on a six week basis for approximately 1 hour duration. Regular contact is maintained between visits by the trainer assessor.
Apprenticeships and traineeships allow employers to train staff in their workplace, while also allowing the employee to undertake formal training delivered by an accredited training provider chosen by the employer. Training undertaken under a Traineeship/Apprenticeship is nationally accredited.
Flexible arrangements are also available for workplaces with multiple trainees undertaking the same qualification.
