» Course Description:
The Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning is an accredited senior secondary qualification. This course is hands on learning for young people aged 15 – 19 with a range of abilities and interests, who are not at school and not working full time.
VCAL provides students with practical work related experience, as well as literacy and numeracy skills and the opportunity to build personal skills that are important for life and work. The program aims to provide students with proficiency and knowledge to make informed choices about pathways to work and further education and also increase their employability attributes.

» Course Notes: Course Outline & Delivery: The classes are Full Time over 12 months and are delivered in an Adult learning environment with Industry specific training options and work towards achieving a full Certificate. • Literacy – increase your skills in reading and writing for better career options • Numeracy – improve your everyday math skills to help with employment opportunities • Work related skills - work placement, OHS, job skills and community projects • Industry specific skills – gain experience in different industry areas to offer future pathways • Personal Development skills- identify and expand your own personal development areas
