“Hello, Hello” took on a new meaning on Tuesday morning when Chris Lucas from Chris & Marie’s nursery was guest speaker at a Business Breakfast held at the Leongatha RSL. Chris arrived in his infamous pink tutu and provided a very thoughtful insight into his business journey and success.
Over the last few years Chris together with his team have worked really hard and now own and operate retail stores across Victoria and have developed some of the most popular plant promotions which have become household names such as Neighbours-Be-Gone® Trees, Silver Stirling™ Pittosporum & Aussie Outdoor Palms, to name just a few.
The breakfast was hosted by Community College Gippsland and supported by the Golden Gurus. The Program provides Mature Age Australians, aged 50 years and over with a range of opportunities to support community organisations and small businesses.
Alex Todorovski, Business Operations Manager CCG Leongatha said “It was really great to see local business’s networking and supporting this event and Chris certainly passed on his wisdom and knowledge about success in small business, pink tutu and all.”
Alex thanked Chris for his insightful talk and invited local businesses to contact him at CCG Leongatha for assistance in training and developing their staff.
If you missed out on attending this event keep en eye out for the next Business Breakfast to be held at Community College Gippsland Wonthaggi Campus.
