Quad Bike Rider Course & Safety Demonstration
Saturday 29th October at McMillan Campus Warragul.
The hands-on, 1 Day Quad Bike Rider Course is conducted by licensed Quad Bike Safety Instructors.
It offers participants an opportunity to increase their safety knowledge and to practice basic to advanced riding skills in a controlled environment under the direct supervision of a licensed Instructor.
Participants practice safety techniques with hand-on exercises e.g. starting and stopping, turning
Both gradual and quick, negotiating hills, emergency stopping and swerving, and riding over obstacles.
The course also covers protective gear, environmental responsibility, pre-start safety checks,
Understanding machine and personal capabilities, securing the bike for transport, correct loading/unloading, transport fastening, appropriate attachments, awareness of trailer/load limitations, 4WD verses 2WD, diff lock use & Hi/Low range use.
Particular emphasis is placed on the safety implications related to each lesson. Participants receive the Quad Bike Rider Course Manual, which reinforces the safety information and riding techniques covered during the Rider Course.
Why Rider Training?
You may need to show evidence of competency for Workplace Health & Safety, Insurance and Duty of Care. Some insurance companies are now requiring this compensation coverage.
On successful completion of the Quad Bike Rider course participants will receive a nationally recognised ‘Statement of Attainment’ issued by Yamaha Motor Australia Pty Ltd to cover Industry
Work Safe requirements.
The Course cost is $195.00 per person. Bookings are essential.
